This section is dedicated to my study at the City University of Hong Kong at the School of Creative Media. Since September 2019, I conduct an art-infused research studying general consciousness and the possibilities of artificial (computational) consciousness. What are the probabilities, consequences and impact on society at large, if our artifacts will develop sentience and ultimately consciousness. Is it even possible? What do we know about general consciousness? Can we make assumptions based on neuroscientific research or is everything pure speculation and if so is that hindering knowledge production? Could art be a tool to explore consciousness which is not based on spiritualism, but is a serious attempt to provide insight in this enigmatic phenomenon? These questions and more are being explored through this research. I will frequently update this section with writings, thoughts and works that are done to explore this fascinating domain. I will invite the reader to leave comments and their ideas about this subject, and hopefully in time this section will grow into a discourse about consciousness.
